Thank you so much to all who have visited FarGo in person or continued to support our independent businesses online these past few weeks.
FarGo Village is now open as normal. Many of our businesses are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, pleased o check if you are planning to visit on these days.
As the beauty industry starts to reopen, we’re thrilled to see Dashing Blades Barbershop, Rock’n’Roller Parlour and The Drawing Room back full time! All are by appointment only, so please only visit them if you have a pre-booked appointment. Again, more info via their pages.
The health and safety of our visitors, our businesses, and our staff is our number one priority. With this in mind, please read through the following guidance, measures we have put in place, and useful information, so you are ready for a trip to FarGo!
Strict 2m social distancing will be in place. We have signs on the floor to help you get your bearings.
Access to the village will be through the front gates leading onto Far Gosford Street only- this is so we can monitor how many people are in the village at any time and keep everyone safe.
There will be a one-way system in the Market Hall and our traders will have limits on the number of customers in their shops due to their size. Please enter through the shutter nearest Choc N Roll, and exit through the shutter nearest Auntie Olives Attic.
Most of the furniture is out of bounds lounging and chilling is unfortunately not an option for now.
We have provided hand sanitizer stations around the village, so please do ensure you are washing your hands regularly. Handwashing facilities are available for all in the Market Hall.
Cleaning procedures are in place, and cleaning of sinks and surfaces will take place every two hours.
Our public toilets in the Market Hall are now open. They will be cleaned 2 hourly during public opening times. We will also provide cleaning products fr your own use outside of these times.
From 24th July in line with government regulation, you will be required to wear a mask in all of our shops.
We believe we have done everything possible to make your visit to FarGo safe. Please do tell us if you think we can improve – this is a new time for all of us! We do hope that you will join us and support our local, independent traders as we get back to normal.
